Original CGI & Animation ProductionFrom storyboard through final render, we produce original CGI, green screen composites, and fully animated fulldome content. What file format do you deliver for projection dome playback?
We deliver in the format your playback system requires — fulldome master, equirectangular, dome-master, or custom format. For our own dome systems, we handle all format conversion and media server configuration. For third-party dome environments, we confirm technical specifications before production begins.
Can you produce 360° content for domes you did not supply?
Yes. We produce content for any fulldome theater, planetarium, or projection dome environment. We require the technical playback specifications — projector resolution, aspect ratio, and media server type — before beginning production.
Do you film on location or require a studio?
We film on location anywhere in the world. Our mobile 360° filming capabilities include vehicle-mounted, backpack, aerial, and fixed-rig configurations. We have filmed across 33 countries in corporate, outdoor, and complex logistical environments.
What is the minimum lead time for a 360° video production project?
Lead time depends on project scope. Short-form content for a single dome event can be turned around in 4–6 weeks from concept approval. Original CGI or large-scale productions require 8–16 weeks. Contact us with your event date and we will confirm feasibility.
Do you produce 360° content for web and VR viewing as well as domes?
Yes. We produce equirectangular content for web-based 360° viewing, VR headset delivery, and social media platforms in addition to dome-master files for projection dome environments. Many clients use a single production for both dome display and online distribution.
What is the maximum resolution you support?
Our media servers and post-production pipeline support output up to 8K resolution. Standard deliverables are 4K or 6K depending on the dome system. For Celestial Dome environments, we produce at the resolution required for seamless large-format display.
Do you handle all production in-house?
Yes. Absolute Hollywood handles 360° filming, CGI production, post-production, format conversion, media server programming, and on-site calibration entirely in-house. We do not subcontract production to third parties.
